Doctor Tran grew up in Missouri. She has always wanted to be a doctor since she was a young girl. After graduating from Rockhurst University with a B.S. in Chemistry, she worked as a researcher and had several publications. After medical school, Ross University, she entered training in Family Medicine at Michigan State University School of Medicine and then University of New Jersey Medical School .
